Book Update

After having fired my publisher because of lousy response-times, I have now decided to publish my book myself.
My book? Yep, the one that I wrote about before (check here for what it's about: http://vanderhaven.net/blog/20071121.html). Back then it still had a different title, now it will be called De Helende Olifant (The Healing Elephant).
It turns out that even in The Netherlands, there are dozens of on-line book publishers that can produce your book (for a fee, of course) in a print-on-demand version and register it with the on-line bookstores as well.
So I went through all the exciting stuff of applying for an ISBN and bar-code, formatting, making up a back cover text, how to get it to the Royal Library (where every piece of paper published in The Netherlands is stored), etc.
It should be ready in a month's time now, so watch this space!
